It's a hostel brimming with personality and charm, catering for 18 year old+ travellers, students and the occasional worker in between assignments. We offer you quality service, comfortable and affordable accommodation and all this available at the best location at the stylish end of Hay Street in Perth. Our guests instantly take to the unique atmosphere and cosy surroundings, even the shyest newcomer to backpacking soon feels at home and becomes part of the 12:01 family. The well-travelled friendly staffs are able to help you with all your travelling and work needs. We offer plenty of good current advice and we can and will book your next Western Australian holiday and tour adventure. We have one of the biggest notice boards in Perth. Get that perfect job, meet your new travelling companion or even buy your next tent or car. 12:01 East covers nearly 800sq metres on 3 levels. The top level comprises of 14 sleeping compartments including: singles, twins, doubles and dorms. Level one has reception, guest services, travel desk, 20 computer internet access and 4 other sleeping compartments. The ground floor has the kitchen, Xander’s Bar, the lounge, the laundry, the dining room and our all courtyard with our bbq and outdoor smoking area. When you eventually leave Perth your fondest memories of this town will include the fun, friends and the great times you had at the 12:01 East Backpackers.
